No, the Dalmacija does not have cabins. Instead, you can choose between a deck-lounge ticket, and numbered airplane-style seats.

Can I book business-class seats?

No, Jadrolinija does not offer any business-class accommodation on the Split - Bari ferry, but you can book a numbered reclining seat. These are airplane-style seats with extra legroom and are in a quieter air-conditioned lounge, making them ideal for stretching out.

Luggage

When traveling with Jadrolinija, you can bring up to 30 kg of luggage, free of charge. Extra charges apply for luggage exceeding the weight allowance.

Traveling with pets

Pets are generally allowed on Split - Bari ferries, provided you include them in your booking. Make sure you bring along your pet’s health and travel documents, including passport, microchip ID and valid rabies vaccination, as well as tickets and pet supplies you may need for the trip.

Where do pets stay on the ferry?

On the Jadrolinija ferries serving the Split - Bari route, your pet can either stay with you or you can book a kennel. Where to take the ferry from Split to Bari

Ferries to Bari leave from the port of Split, in the city’s central passenger harbor. Jadrolinija operates the international crossing from the quays around Gat Svetog Duje, close to its port ticket office. The port is right next to Split’s main bus and railway stations, a short walk from the Riva waterfront and Diocletian’s Palace and 24 km from Split Airport.

Around the harbor, you can find cafés, bakeries, restaurants, convenience stores, ATMs, ticket offices, car-rental agencies and several hotels.

How to get to the port of Split

• On foot: from the Riva or Diocletian’s Palace, you can walk to the passenger port in approximately 5-10 min.
• By car: follow the state road D8 or highway signs directing to Split Centar and Trajektna Luka (Ferry Port). When you arrive, proceed to the check-in and vehicle-boarding area indicated on your ticket and arrive early enough to complete border checks and line up for embarkation.
• By train or intercity bus: the central railway and intercity bus terminals are located beside the passenger port.
• From Split Airport: the airport shuttle to Split’s main bus station at the City Harbor takes 30-40 min.
• By taxi: a taxi ride from the airport usually takes around 30 min.

Where does the ferry arrive in Bari?

Ferries from Split typically dock at Passenger Terminal (Stazione Marittima) in the New Port (Nuovo Porto) of Bari. The passenger port lies beside the Old Town (Bari Vecchia), the Basilica of Saint Nicholas and the seafront promenade. Bari Centrale railway station is around 2.5 km from the port, while Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport is around 11 km away.
